Governance

Jessie’s Fund’s trustees provide support in a non-executive capacity. They have a duty to act collectively to deliver the charity’s objectives and provide public benefit – reporting annually to the Charity Commission.

Constitution of Jessie’s Fund

Under the terms of Jessie’s Fund constitution trustees can serve for 5 years and be re-elected for up to a further 5.

Trustee meetings and sub-committees

Trustee meetings take place three times a year. The Finance sub-committee and Organisational Grants sub-committee meet in advance of each meeting. Other sub-committees meet as necessary, for example 30th anniversary committee and personnel committee. Individual grants are reviewed monthly by two trustees and co-ordinated by the Executive Director.
